Edit Run (Run Calibration)

You will notice after your first run that the distance metric is tagged as "estimated".  This is because we need to calibrate our distance measurements with the actual distance of your run. We recommend using a trusted distance source - from GPS watch or app. Once you have edited 3 runs, RunScribe will accurately measure distance.

Edit Run on Mobile

Using the Advanced Trim Feature

For runners who want to establish the run session based on step rate, there is a trim.  This is helpful for runners who may do a warmup before a run, or who want to crop out any additional footsteps captured by RunScribe after your run is complete.

On the web dashboard, in the Run Detail view, select the Trim button. By moving the Slider in the Trim Run page, users crop the run. Users can also edit the Run Distance in the Trim Screen.  Once run start and finish has been set, the Run Duration will automatically update.  Select the “Save Trim” button before leaving the screen.
