Just got the runscribe and trying to connect it to my iPad (IOS 8.3) and the iPad can't find the module. I attempted to do it again with another iPad (same os) but to no avail. Granted there's no android app yet, my android phome did recognize the runscribe in the list of options for Bluetooth connectivity. I've restarted the iPad multiple times although it doesn't help. Any suggestions?

Alan Grose Hi Neal,
If I'm reading your question correctly, you're unable to find the Runscribe app in the App Store on your iPad and load it.
By default, you are only presented iPad specific apps even though iPhone apps, which rS is, work fine.
If you select to view iPhone apps you should be able to load it. Your app store should look similar to this example.
If I misunderstood and this isn't your question, please ask again, maybe with a few more details.

Neal Masterson My apologies, I can get the app. The problem I have is connecting the module via bluetooth to the iPad. The iPad can't find the device, although my android phone can see it. Basically there's a Bluetooth connectivity issue with my iPad and the runscribe module. I've tried restarting and resetting the network but it still can't connect let alone find the device. Sorry for my lack clarity in my question.

Alan Grose Is your iPad an earlier generation model that doesn't support BTLE or Bluetooth Smart?
This is the compatibility list. Bluetooth Smart

Neal Masterson Well that right there is where my problem lies. I have an iPad 2, which according to that list isn't compatible. I'll see if I can find a good friend that will let me borrow a more up to date apple product. Thank you for the quick responses!

Alan Grose You may want to figure on a little extra time for the first go, in the event the units you received want to update the firmware.
Hopefully you can get it sorted in short order. At least it's no longer a mystery what is happening!
